Q&A: Where can a needy person get charity car repairs or a donated car in Georgia?

Question asked byTracy Neuen…: Where can a needy person get charity car repairs or a donated car in Georgia?
I just lost my job there is not public transportation in the area. I live with my elderly mother. The repairs needed to my car are very expensive (over 00) & we have been unsuccessful finding a decent car for under 00. I have also been unable to find any charities to help us. I need a car to continue my job search.

I’m sure there are many good cars that are well under 1500. Most of my buddies bought their cars for 600$. And there going pretty good. Might just have to get something that does not look so fancy. I doubt that there are any places you will get charity money.

Try out of state, you can find plenty of cars out of the area. Just look at the adds talk to the owner or dealer and you can have something work out. Most people will go out of their way, a bit to sell the car. So you can look for the right one, take a gray hound and drive it back.

I know a guy who got a 97 volvo for only 1300, but that was in Arizona.

Tracy Neuen…, Let me start out by saying I’m not too knowledable when it comes to auto repair. Last year I had an accident with my Honda Pilot and I wasn’t sure how to fix them. I tried to search the web for tips, but the procedures were way too complex for my skills. I ended up going to the dealship for my repairs. The dealership tends to charge more than mom and pop repair shops, but they’ve seen all sorts of situations (car insurance problems, repair warranty issues, etc) and they seem to always find a way to help me. Maybe you can try calling auto repair shops in Georgia to see if they can help you. http://www.autorepairshopreview.com/Georgia-Repair-Shops.html
